Stefan Chacón

A native of Arroyo Hondo, New Mexico, Mr. Chacón received a B.S. in Economics from the University of LaVerne in California, where he was a member of the international debate squad and President of the Model United Nations organization. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Chacón served in the Peace Corps in Ecuador, where he started a small business and helped establish micro-finance programs in communities throughout the country.
Mr. Chacón received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. While in law school, Mr. Chacón earned a position on the Moot Court Board and the Mock Trial Board, and served as President of the Hispanic Law Students Association. He also interned at the White House Council on Environmental Quality during the Bush and Obama administrations, and was an Opinion Columnist to the law school’s newspaper, Nota Bene.
After law school Mr. Chacón clerked for the Honorable Richard C. Bosson of the New Mexico Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice law in California and New Mexico.
